New Canaan Police report that around 6:55 a.m., Monday, May 17, they received a call from a resident on Colonial Court reporting an Audi A3 stolen from the driveway, said New Canaan PD Chief Leon Krolikowski.

The owner told officers the vehicle was left unlocked and the keys were inside.

The following items were inside the vehicle at the time it was stolen: Car seat, jacket, drum equipment, and a golf club.

About two later a second resident of Windrow Lane reported a 2017 RAM pick-up truck stolen from the driveway, Krolikowski said.

The owner of the truck believes it was left unlocked and the keys were left inside.

Two other vehicles were in the driveway but were locked.

The locked vehicles appeared to be untouched.

Krolikowski said residents are reminded to lock vehicles, remove keys and key fobs, and all valuables.
